Bringing teams together: Anuha & Northridge meet for the first time!

10 April 2025

We are excited to share that, for the first time, the team at Anuha in Gatton met with the team at Northridge Retirement Living—and, of course, we couldn’t resist making them take a photo to mark the occasion!

It was revealing to hear that neither team was severely affected by the recent cyclone, a relief given the challenges that such weather events can bring. While heavy rains swept through the region, they have left behind a lush, green landscape, a refreshing sight after a tough season.

Beyond just a first meeting, this gathering has sparked hope for further engagement and collaboration, with conversations already turning to future catch-ups. There is now talk of connecting with others in our network, expanding opportunities for shared learning and stronger ties across the sector.

Following our visit to these QLD teams, we were deeply impressed by the incredible emergency preparedness work that each organisation had in place. Their proactive approach has inspired us to organise a webinar on Emergency Response Preparedness with the teams in QLD, ensuring that members in other states can also benefit from these insights.

The webinar will be scheduled for early May and we look forward to continuing these important discussions and strengthening connections across our community!
