A big challenge for African families settling into Shepparton, Victoria, is getting around, as public transport is limited. In response, the congregation at St Paul’s Lutheran Church decided to set up a learn-to-drive program for African people aged over 21.

Five Australian Lutheran schools have been nominated as finalists in the Australian Education Awards 2020.

For Susie Taylor, the LCA/NZ church plant at Pakenham’s Lakeside College in Melbourne’s outer south-eastern suburbs has been an answer to prayer – and a place where God is working miracles in people’s lives.

‘Terrible things happen – but we can still feel supported and loved’ (Helen Wurst, Kangaroo Island). LCA members have been at the forefront of community efforts to serve, minister to and offer relief.

One of the people supporting evacuees from the Gippsland region is Pastor Mark Kleemann, Senior Chaplain at the Royal Australian Air Force Base, East Sale.
