On 28 August, the LCA IT Department alerted users of its services that Microsoft is changing the functionality of automatic email forwarding, effective from 1 September. The new security measure introduced globally by Microsoft will have no impact on people who use their LCA email account for work.

Grandparents play a vital role in a child’s faith formation. Of course, COVID-19 isolation and restrictions have kept many grandparents separated from their grandchildren. While this can be heartbreaking, there are many ways you can stay connected.

On 9 June the LCA was the victim of an online security breach. On 10 June, upon investigating the seriousness of the attack, the LCA IT Department shut down the entire LCA network and deleted all user passwords in order to secure our systems and restore services safely.

High school-aged Lutherans and their friends will gather at an internet ‘camp’ this winter school holidays. Organised by the LCA SA–NT District’s Blueprint Ministries, the camp.online program has been developed in response to COVID-19.

Members of two LCA congregations have added their voices to the Australian version of ecumenical internet music video The Blessing. More than 300 churches, worship leaders, artists and Christian ministry groups from around the nation took part in the project, which premiered on YouTube on 7 June.
