Commission on Worship

A new worship music resource that encourages hymn singing and makes ‘the old favourites’ more accessible has been launched by Lutherans in Australia.

The LCA/NZ’s Commission on Worship is calling for donations of second-hand, good-quality copies of the combined Lutheran Hymnal with Supplement for use by Australian Lutheran College among others.

As you will be aware from media reports, the Australian and New Zealand governments are taking action to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) around the two nations.

The Worship Planning Page from the LCA/NZ’s Commission on Worship features a number of new resources to take the stress out of service preparation.

The LCA/NZ’s Visual Arts Working Group is organising the first churchwide simultaneous art exhibition this year and artists of all skill levels and media are invited to take part.

The new Worship Planning Page from the LCA’s Commission on Worship (CoW) is up and running. It is designed to serve and equip anyone involved with the preparation of worship services within the LCA/NZ.
