Worship & Growing Faith

Are you looking for ways to encourage others to get involved in prayer? Looking for ideas on how to pray? Or ways to teach prayer to children? The Grow Ministries GIFT Prayer resource offers resources to help us learn about the importance of prayer in our Christian lives.

Each year, the Local Mission department of the LCANZ facilitates a Season of Prayer, inviting and calling on congregations of the LCANZ to pray. This year, the Season of Prayer is scheduled for 10 to 24 September 2023, and the theme is ‘Lord, renew your church’.

The Messages of Hope featured in August include the topics of confidence, contentment, dementia, coping with changing and letting go of control.

Offered by Local Mission, a Gospel Fluency Workshop is designed to help prepare and equip you and give you a vocabulary, context, and some actual practice in sharing the good news in words and actions with those around you.

Watch, listen to, read and share the July Messages of Hope on forgiveness, conflict and chronic pain.

Watch, listen to, read and share the Messages of Hope on stress, depression and financial distress featured in June. We encourage you to use the videos, podcasts and booklets in your mission efforts.
