Heeding the call for COVID help

Prayer call for Myanmar
Members of the LCA/NZ are being urged to pray for peace in Myanmar, where the military staged a coup d’etat and took control of the country last month. LCA International Mission works closely with churches in Myanmar and Pastor Matt Anker says, ‘Please join us as we pray for a peaceful resolution’.

Stamps make a world of difference

Who would have thought the once-popular children’s pastime of stamp collecting was still alive? Well, not only is it still going strong, but it continues to make a world of difference to communities around the globe through the LCA’s Stamps for Mission program, which has raised almost $446,000.

Ordination joy despite lockdown
Despite a COVID-19 lockdown forcing a last-minute change, Stanley Roberts was ordained in unique circumstances as a Specific Ministry Pastor (SMP) at Papunya in the NT. With LCA/NZ Bishop John Henderson unable to travel due to the snap lockdown, Stanley was ordained by another SMP.
