Pray for your neighbours

As we go for a walk around our neighbourhoods to keep fit and get some fresh air, let’s remember to bless the people we pass along the way.

Those inside each house may be unknown to us, but the Lord is watching over them in love, and our prayer may be the only blessing they are receiving.

As Joshua prepared to lead the people into the Promised Land, the Lord said, ‘I have given you every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon!’ (Joshua 1:3)

As we walk our neighbourhoods (over the coming weeks), let’s think about this promise and pray that his ‘kingdom comes, on earth as it is in heaven’.
