Two new Live at the Chapel (LATC) venues were launched last month, with churches at Nambour in Queensland and Bendigo in Victoria joining the ministry network.

The Nambour launch featured singer and ukulele-playing songwriter Nicolle Jean and folk/groove singer-songwriter Jason Daniels, who shared testimonies and music for the gathering at St John’s Anglican Church.

This is a ministry of Aussie Grown Radio, coordinated by Buderim Lutheran Church’s Rod and Jenelle Hanckel, and Julie Darlington.

The LATC Bendigo launch featured acoustic folk duo Mayfair Lane – aka Rhys Duursma & Esther Jamieson (above). LATC Bendigo is a ministry of Bendigo Lutheran Church, coordinated by Trevor Heinzel.

LATC Australasia was born in May 2009 as a ministry of Zion Lutheran Church, Gympie in Queensland. LATC has a network of six venues across Australia, including one in Sydney and two in Melbourne. Its aim is to showcase creative faith-based music by Australian and New Zealand artists and spread to every city and regional centre of Australia and New Zealand.

For more information, check out the Live at the Chapel Australasia Facebook page or contact LATC Australasia coordinator Pastor Frank Rasenberger on 0457 721 435.
