Did you attend a Lutheran school?
On this Flashback Friday, we look back on our Lutheran school grounding and where it has taken us in life …
We look back specifically at the official opening of Tatachilla Lutheran College on a hot January day in 1999, when 109 Year 8 students became the school’s first cohort.
One of those founding students was Tom Brennen, who has since gone on to become a lecturer at Australian Lutheran College (ALC) after being a Lutheran school Principal.
Today, with approximately 55,000 students enrolled in Lutheran early childhood centres and schools across the LCA in 2026, it’s exciting to consider the many different paths these young people may take in the future.
Did you attend a Lutheran school as a child? How has that experience influenced your career or life journey? We’d love to hear your story in the comments.
