Leadership transition at LDS
We wish Michael Kromwyk all the very best as he concludes his time as CEO of Lutheran Disability Services (LDS). Michael has made a valued contribution during his tenure.
In late May, David Nichol joined LDS as the Interim CEO, stepping into the role to provide leadership, governance, and continuity during this important transition period. David brings a strong background in corporate business, with extensive experience across the finance, risk, and assurance sectors.
He is the former Chair of the Beyond Bank Foundation and continues to serve on a national board, bringing both strategic insight and executive leadership capability to the organisation. His appointment is a deliberate move to ensure a smooth transition as LDS prepares for its next chapter.
The LDS Board CEO Recruitment Sub-Committee expects to conduct final interviews for the permanent CEO role in late June, with an announcement on the successful candidate to follow shortly after.
We warmly welcome David to the LDS community and look forward to working alongside him as the organisation continues its commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support to clients, families, and staff.
