Finding your way around
Most hotels listed on the Accommodation page are within five kilometres of Concordia College, which is south of Adelaide's CBD.
Transport
For those who wish to take public transport, the Adelaide Metro webpage is great for helping find public transportation routes. Some may need to take more than one bus service to get to a location and may require some walking between stops. Trains and trams are also available depending on accommodation. Note: Purchasing tickets or paying with cash on Adelaide metro buses is no longer available.
Most major news agencies and post office branches carry metroCARDs for sale and can recharge them. On most forms of public transportation in Adelaide, we now offer tap and pay, which allows you to use your Visa or Mastercard to pay for your fares. Simply tap your card on the reader when entering a train, tram or bus.
Using your Visa or Mastercard will charge regular rates. If you are a student or hold a concession card, those rates will only apply with the use of a metroCARD.
Please note that on free tram services within city limits, if travelling further, the PA announcement will prompt you to pay.

Adelaide has a range of taxi services available for those not wanting to travel on public transport, are staying further away from Concordia College, or need transportation to and from Adelaide Airport.

Bus routes
The following contains instructions for travel to Concordia College from various major roads close to accommodation. The Adelaide Metro ‘Plan my journey’ webpage is a useful tool for planning bus routes. The length of time between buses at stops will vary depending on the bus. This information can be found on Google Maps or the Adelaide Metro site. The maps below will be a useful guide for identifying stops along your journey. Please also note that while some buses travel along the same road, these buses may have limited stops along the route. Please consult the ‘Plan my journey’ webpage to ensure you are catching the right bus.
Bus 171 Stop 5 Fullarton Road – east side – or Stop 7 for those at location 4 – to Stop 10 Fullarton Road – east side
10-minute walk down Cheltenham Street
Travel time: 15–20 minutes (location dependent)
Best Western: bus 300 on Stop 13 Portrush Road – east side
Jacksons Motor Inn: bus 300 at Stop 19 Portrush Road – east side
The Monastery: walk to stop 163 Cross Road – south side – bus 170
Get off at stop 163 Cross Road – south side – change to 170, get off at Stop 9 Duthy Street – west side.
7-minute walk to Concordia
Travel time: 30 minutes from Jacksons Motor Inn, 24 minutes from Best Western, 19 minutes from the Monastery
Walk to Hutt Street and catch bus 170 at Stop K1 Hutt Street – east side.
Get off at Stop 9 Duthy Street – east side.

Walk to stop L1 Goodwood Road – east side – and catch the G10 to Stop 9 Goodwood Road – east side. Change buses and catch the 100 from 175 Cross Road – north side – and get off at stop 168 Cross Road – north side.
14-minute walk to Concordia College
Travel time: 43 minutes
Walk 12 minutes to Stop 1 Botanic Road South – east side – and catch the 172. Get off at Stop 9 Duthy Street – east side. Walk 6 minutes to Concordia College.

Car parking at Concordia College
Limited car parking is available at Concordia College in the college car parks. Should the car parks be full, there is street parking available. Note: Potentially able to hire Julia Farr car park – under negotiation.
Please be aware that while Synod falls during school holidays, the junior school campus will still have OSHC staff and students on campus. As such, some of the car parks may still have staff cars during the week.
