Liturgical Colour: Green

You may notice the use of the word ‘Proper’ this Sunday. It is a liturgical word meaning the service and readings appointed for that day. The ‘Proper’ number is not the same number as the Sunday after Pentecost – that is okay. This is because the liturgical calendar is moveable and, depending on when Easter falls, changes year to year.

When there are references in the Worship Planning Page to a letter followed by a number, e.g. 7A, this means Proper 7 in Year A.
