Ways to commemorate the Reformation
On 31 October, we commemorate the Reformation, marking the anniversary of Martin Luther posting his 95 Theses, and give thanks for the renewed proclamation of the good news of God’s grace that emerged from it. These resources can help congregations, schools and households mark the occasion.
Worship planning
With major celebrations like the Commemoration of the Reformation and All Saints just around the corner, the Worship Planning Page has prepared a full suite of worship resources for congregations. The Commemoration of the Reformation falls on Saturday 31 October this year, but congregations may choose to mark the occasion on Sunday 25 October.
Access the Reformation service resources, including service orders, readings, sermons in written and audio formats, music suggestions and children’s liturgy. Further material is available on the Reformation seasonal resources page.
