Still time for congregations to complete Child Safety Action Plans
Thank you to all congregations that submitted their Round 2 Child Safety Standards Action Plan or Child Safety ‘No Children’ Assurance by the 31 March deadline.
Your efforts to make our church a safe place where children and young people can thrive and grow in their faith are appreciated.
A list of all submissions received so far is available at www.lca.org.au/child-safety-standards/css-thankyou
Several congregations not currently listed are working very hard and are close to completing their submissions. This list will be updated at the end of the month.
If you cannot see your congregation listed and believe it should be, contact css@lca.org.au for assistance. Alternatively, speak with your church council or chair.
Haven’t started your Child Safety Standards Action Plan yet?
Some congregations have not submitted or communicated with the Child Safety team about their progress. For congregations that are either still working on their Child Safety Standard Action Plans or are yet to commence the process, please note that you are still required to complete your Child Safety Standards Action Plan.
