Free finance education: Not-for-Profit Finance Week is back
Good news for anyone in our network who manages budgets, sits on a finance committee, or simply wants to feel more confident reading a balance sheet: Not-for-Profit Finance Week is returning, hosted by the Institute of Community Directors Australia (ICDA).
This annual initiative is a celebration of ideas, knowledge, and financial capacity-building for Australia’s $100 billion not-for-profit sector. It’s designed specifically for board members, treasurers, and staff who carry the responsibility of overseeing an organisation’s finances, whether that’s a congregation, an aged care service, or a community program.
Over the course of the week, ICDA runs a series of free webinars covering practical, real-world topics such as:
- The key questions your board should be asking about finances, and the reports you should expect to see
- How to read and act on financial statements with confidence
- Funding and fundraising strategies to help your organisation stay financially sustainable
Best of all, registration is completely free.
Whether you’re a treasurer wanting a refresher, a board member keen to build your financial literacy, or a staff member who works alongside your finance team, this is a low-effort, high-value opportunity to strengthen your understanding.
