Equipping the saints
New and Renewing Churches offers several opportunities for equipping the people of your congregations to effectively serve the church and lovingly reach out to the world.
In particular, you may be interested in exploring the possibility of hosting the following workshops:
- An Equip the Saints congregational workshop designed to help your congregation put into practice effective disciple-making (three hours)
- A Gospel Fluency Workshop designed to help the everyday people of God grow more confident in sharing the gospel in natural ways in their daily lives and relationships (three hours)
- A Go-Grow-Enable-Pray workshop designed to help your congregation members evoke their gifts and passions and help structure your ministry so the right people are serving in the right places in your church for sustainable and joyful ministry, mission and discipleship (three hours)
- The Epaphras Project materials. In every place, God provides people whose gifting and calling is simply to pray, intercede and be persistent with God in prayer for the growth and maturity of the congregation. The Epaphras Project aims to affirm, encourage, network, and equip the intercessors or prayer warriors in your congregation and across the LCA.
God bless you as you ‘live a life worthy of the calling you have received’ (Ephesians 4:1–2) and as you step into the good works God has prepared in advance for you to do (Ephesians 2:10)!
