Cowell Clarke launches new regulatory update and action tracker
A story from Cowell Clarke
_______________
We are excited to share a valuable new resource from Cowell Clarke who several of our organisations use, who have launched an Aged Care and Retirement Living Regulatory Update and Action Tracker.
Regulatory change across aged care and retirement living continues at pace, and for many of our member organisations it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep track of what has changed, what is coming next and what action is required. Cowell Clarke has developed the tracker to make that easier: a practical, ongoing resource to help providers and operators stay ahead of key developments across the sector.
What sets the tracker apart is its focus on what matters in practice. Rather than simply summarising legislative change, each edition sets out:
- what has changed
- what it means for your organisation
- key dates and requirements to be aware of
- recommended actions to support compliance and implementation.
The first edition covers important developments arising from the Aged Care Rules 2025 (Cth). Cowell Clarke will continue to update the tracker as the regulatory landscape develops, so it can serve as a central resource you return to for the latest changes and the practical steps that flow from them.
Many of you will remember Megan Jongebloed from Cowell Clarke, who joined us at the National Lutheran Retirement Village Alliance (NLRVA) meeting in Adelaide in August and the May 2026 National Networking Forum. We are grateful for Cowell Clarke’s ongoing partnership with our network and their commitment to supporting Lutheran aged care, retirement living and community service organisations as we continue to serve our residents, clients and communities well through a period of significant change.
If you would like to discuss any of the developments covered in the tracker, how they apply to your organisation, or support with implementation, please contact Megan Jongebloed, Chair and Director, Corporate and Commercial, at MJongebloed@CowellClarke.com.au Cowell Clarke also welcomes feedback on the tracker.
