Lutheran World Federation General Secretary Rev Dr Anne Burghardt and Regional Secretary for Asia Rev Dr Rospita Siahaan will visit Australia in September, including visits to LCANZ ministries and an open forum at Church House in Adelaide. LCANZ Bishop Paul Smith invites church members to attend the forum.

Lutheran World Federation (LWF) has honoured former LWF Director Brian Neldner for 40 years of service in a feature story celebrating his 90th birthday.

The Lutheran World Federation Council has elected Estonian theologian Rev Anne Burghardt to be its next General Secretary. She will be the first woman and the first Central-Eastern European to hold this leadership position for the global communion of Lutheran churches.
