Lutheran school principal Ms Jodie Hoff will be the new Executive Director of Lutheran Education Australia from January 2026. The founding principal of Lutheran Ormeau Rivers District School in Queensland, Jodie will succeed Associate Professor Lisa Schmidt.

In response to a call from the Lutheran education community for teaching and pastoral care advice on identity and gender, the LCANZ has approved a cover letter to be read in conjunction with the ’Created and Loved’ Christian guide.

Lutheran Education Australia (LEA) has launched a new website and print resources to support worship and devotions in LEA learning communities.

Sue Kupke has been appointed as Lutheran Education Australia’s next Director of Formation. Most recently the Education Leader for Lutheran Education SA, NT & WA, Sue has taught in Lutheran schools in Victoria, SA and WA. She will succeed Anne Dohnt.
