This week’s National Carers Week, from 10 to 16 October, is a time to recognise and celebrate the 2.65 million Australians and 430,000 New Zealanders who provide unpaid care and support to a family member or friend.

Every LCANZ congregation is being encouraged to recognise and give thanks for the Christian care provided by congregational ministries, individuals, and Lutheran aged-care and community services. A suite of resources to support a Sunday celebration of care was launched recently.
