How to change your password/passphrase

To change your password, log on to the LCA portal.

To access this, simply click the LCA Portal link on the top of the LCA Web site.

In My Tools select the Change Password tile.

This will take you to this screen;

Your OLD password is your current password

Enter your new password (your decide what this is) twice

Select Submit to complete the change

TIP – Use a passphrase

A pass-phrase is a sentence that you can easily remember, for example:

I live in a blue house on top of a big hill.

This would include spaces and the period. This pass-phrase would then be 44 characters long – much safer than an 8-character password.

The minimum number of characters for your pass-phrase is 16.

Please make sure you use at least 1 capital letter and one special character (examples ! # @ . , ).

Using a passphrase makes it much more difficult for a another person to guess your password.
