We are thrilled to share some early plans for the 2025 Networking Forum and warmly invite the members of our Aged Care and Community Service organisations to save the date for this important and rewarding event.
Your presence is key to the success of the forum and based on the outstanding success of our last three events, we are confident that this forum will continue to offer an unforgettable experience, rich with valuable connections and insights. While it may be challenging to surpass our last event, I am positive that we will deliver something equally impressive.
In response to significant feedback regarding the Saturday sessions and a noticeable 20-30% decline in attendance on Saturday mornings due to family and weekend commitments, we have adjusted the schedule. The 2025 Networking Forum will now be held on Thursday, 22nd May, and Friday, 23rd May, to ensure better participation and convenience for all attendees.
After careful deliberation, we have chosen Sydney as the location for the forum. While Albury was previously part of our venue rotation, we have found that travel times posed challenges for many members. The GEC Committee has taken this into account and determined that Sydney offers a more accessible and convenient option.
Your input is highly valued, and I encourage you to share any ideas or suggestions you may have. The success of the event is built on tailoring it to your preferences and needs, so your feedback is essential.
