Trusting

Give yourself to the Lord;
Trust in him, and he will help you;
He will make your righteousness shine like the midday sun.
Be patient and wait for the Lord to act;
don’t be worried about those who prosper
or those who succeed in their evil plans.  (verses 5- 7)

Read Psalm 37:1-11,39-40

I remember a year that was not an easy one. During that year I made a commitment to trust and rely on God to work through everything and to keep my heart fixed only on him.

Each day I spent time in prayer, pondering over verses from Scripture. I spent time waiting, just enjoying being his child.

He acted in a way that is so precious. His presence is ever with me. My faith has grown. I love to be with him in prayer. I look forward to being with him eternally.

Dear heavenly Father, help me daily to fix my eyes only on you in my walk through life. Teach me how to trust only in you for happiness in life. Amen
