Opening sentence
If we have died with Christ, we will also live with him;
if we endure, we will also reign with him;
if we deny him, he will also deny us;
if we are faithless, he remains faithful – for he cannot deny himself. (2 Tim 2:11-13 NRSV)
Prayer of the day - (Collect):
Traditional
Merciful Lord,
grant to your faithful people
pardon and peace,
that they may be cleansed from all their sins
and serve you with a quiet mind;
through your Son,
Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns
with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever.

Modernised Traditional
Merciful Lord,
give pardon and peace to your faithful people.
Cleanse us from all our sins,
so that we may serve you with minds set at rest.

Communion Invitation
Jesus says: ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be
hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’ Come, for
everything is ready.

This cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks is a communion in
