O Lord, since you never fail to help and guide
those whom you bring up in your fear and love:
Give us continual fear and love
for your holy name;

us through this healing gift; and we pray that through it you would
graciously strengthen us in faith toward you and in love toward one

gave him up for us all: Grant that we who have received his body and
