Today is the third and final Sunday in the LCANZ Season of Prayer, a three week focus on prayer for renewal and encouraging us to pray for the world and each other. The Festival of St Matthew, Apostle and Evangelist, is celebrated on 21 September. Congregations may like to mark the feast today, especially as the Gospel of Matthew is the focus of the lectionary during Year A. You can find resources here.
