Dramatising the Readings
The readings can be read by more than one person to make the dramatic meaning of the text clearer.
For instance, reading 1a could be read by three readers: narrator, Naomi, Ruth; and the gospel by three readers: narrator (the pastor), a teacher of the law, Jesus. Reading 1a could also be acted out by three women or girls as it is read.
