TONY AND TROY KALLESKE
The Kalleske farm and vineyards were established in 1853 at Moppa, a sub-district of Greenock in the Barossa Valley. Tony and Troy are seventh-generation Kalleskes, continuing the long family tradition of making outstanding wine. Troy in particular has received numerous accolades, with one of the most prestigious being the ‘2008 Barossa Winemaker of the Year’ title awarded by the Barons of Barossa.
Chris’ grandfather established the Pfeiffer vineyards in the Barossa, and the family continues the tradition to this day. Chris spent most of his working life at Lutheran Publishing House / Openbook Publishers, completing his long career there as General Manager. In 1997 he joined and expanded the family business, now known as Whistler Wines. In retirement Chris maintains an active interest in winemaking and in the mission of the church.
PASTOR DAVID GOGOLL
Before studying to become a pastor, David worked in the wine industry for seven years in the laboratory and then as a winemaker. He has always continued to enjoy the taste of a good wine.
PASTOR DETLEV VOSGERAU
Detlev has a very good palate and a keen interest in varietal and regional distinctives. He has a very broad knowledge of wine.
