Unexpected blessing at Morley Bethlehem
Since coming to Morley Bethlehem in Western Australia a year ago, Pastor James Luk has developed a relationship with the local Sudanese community, and several families regularly join the congregation for worship. A local Sudanese choir was invited and blessed us with some African hymns and songs during a worship service in October 2021.
They didn’t need amplification as the rafters reverberated with the melodic sound of their voices. Their love of the Lord was reflected in their songs and the expressions of joy on their faces.
The choir members also brought their families and friends with them resulting in sixty Sudanese men, women and children boosting the church attendance that day.
What a day of celebration it was bringing two cultures together to praise God.
