These grannies keep showing the way
Some people don’t know when to stop! Three years ago, women from the Bridgewater Grace congregation in South Australia heard about a need at Blair Athol North primary school and started to tutor disadvantaged children over Zoom each week. And they have never stopped.
It’s hard to describe the depth of the relationship that has developed with these refugee children and their families over the years together. They have proven the statement that ‘God will give you the people you are willing to love!’
Would you consider helping Gill, Sheri, Judi, Betty, Judy (and Darren) with their precious ones?
Blair Athol Primary is a ‘high needs’ school, and what the women are doing is transformative. The challenge is that the staff just don’t have the time to keep organising the activities on-site to prepare for each Zoom session.
If you are interested in joining the team and volunteering two mornings a week at the Blair Athol school to help organise things (and are ‘Zoom savvy’), you would be a godsend.

Be careful – you might find it hard to leave as well!
