We’ve helped send 14,000 kids to school
Our Lutheran family and friends in Australia have helped to send more than 14,000 refugee children to school through Australian Lutheran World Service’s Walk My Way in 2021.

Walking God’s way in the big blue

To Rosemary Lange, it looked like a blue waterfall coming towards the vineyard where she was waiting for her husband Kevin to appear among 650 blue t-shirts. Then she spotted Kevin, at 83 the oldest to complete the full 26-kilometre trail of Walk My Way.

Schools walk the talk

Australia’s Lutheran schools have backed ALWS’s Walk My Way since the concept was born during a teachers’ leadership tour in an African refugee camp in 2016. And 2021 is no different with 19 school communities walking.

Call to support Nepal through COVID emergency
