Pray for upcoming District Synods

Father in heaven, we bring to you the District Synods of the Lutheran Church of Australia and New Zealand.

We pray for the delegates as they prepare, attend and report back to their congregations.

Bless the organisers of the synods. From the caterers to the cleaners, from the agenda planners to the timekeepers, from the synod chairs to the last-minute fixers, grant a special measure of your peace.

Most importantly, Lord, may all the decisions of synods reflect your will, and may each attendee know that we are your hands and feet – your salt-flavouring – in your mission in Australia and New Zealand.
