where love comes to life
by Pastor Matthew Bishop
For it is no empty word for you, but your very life, and by this word you shall live long in the land you are going over the Jordan to possess (Deuteronomy 32:47).
Assemble the people before me to hear my words so that they may learn to revere me as long as they live in the land and may teach them to their children (Deuteronomy 4:10).
So they read from the book, from the law of God, with interpretation. They gave the sense, so that the people understood the reading (Nehemiah 8:8).

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple (Psalm 19:7).
But you have come to Mount Zion … to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant (Hebrews 12:22,24).
But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them and then they will fast (Mark 2:20).
The voice of joy and the voice of gladness … ‘Praise the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his mercy endures forever’ (Jeremiah 33:11).
I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness (Jeremiah 31:3b).
I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness (Isaiah 61:10a).
What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he reveals his glory; and his disciples believed in him (John 2:11).
