Email Lists
The Lutheran Church of Australia sponsors email lists to further its mission and ministry. Read on to find out about current lists and how to join or leave a list.
What are email lists?
Email lists, sometimes called ‘listservs’, assist groups of people to communicate easily on a subject of common interest without the need for everyone on the list to update their address books whenever the group gains or loses members. Emails and replies sent to a list are distributed to all subscribers to that list.
There are two different types of lists:
-
News lists operate as email newsletters, with only the list moderator able to send messages.
-
Discussion lists enable anyone on the list to send a message to all list members.
How do I join or leave a list?
LCA lists are administered by the LCA IT Officer. Send an email to itofficer@lca.org.au if you would like to subscribe or unsubscribe an email address to a list.
