Men's Ministry
About us
While many congregations conduct locally based ministries especially for men, the official men's auxiliary of the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA) is Lutheran Men of Australia (LMA).
LMA supports the mission of the LCA by encouraging men in the church to become involved with the activities of their congregations, including Bible studies, friendship groups and men's breakfasts.
Some groups hold an annual dinner to which they invite other congregations. These dinners often feature good guest speakers. The Executive of Lutheran Men of Australia is usually represented at these functions and it is a pleasure to see many people come together in fellowship.
Men for the Ministry
Over the years LMA has assisted graduating pastors through our Men for the Ministry Projects Fund, and our project for this triennium is to raise $15,000 towards book vouchers for them. In addition, LMA supports the ministry of Lutheran Media, for whom we aim to raise $9000 in this triennium.
