LCA News Service

With over 60,000 of us, there's always something happening somewhere in the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA). The LCA communications team wants to make sure all of us keep in touch with what's going on, as well as highlight the myriad ways our members can get involved in the life of our church. Also, the LCA is part of a wide network of Lutheran and other churches around the world who want to keep up to date with each other's ministry activities and prayer needs.

That's why the LCA News Service is such an important element of our church. It's not only about information, it's also about inspiration. When we can see all the things that God is doing in our church - even though we or our congregation can't be personally involved in all of them - it helps us to feel part of a lively, energetic church that each of us can feel proud of and excited about.

You can keep up to date with LCA stories in any of these ways:

  • Subscribe to LCA General Convention eNews. If you're a pastor, lay worker or delegate, you are automatically subscribed to this list and are expected to remain subscribed. If you are a General Synod delegate, please remember that your term of office remains current until the next General Convention. Shortly, this news service will be renamed LCA eNews.
  • Keep an eye on Latest News on this website. If you subscribe to the RSS Feed (at the top of the left-hand column), you'll receive news updates the morning after stories are published.
  • Via our facebook page - and of course you're invited to add your own pics, comments and like us.
  • Follow us on Twitter.
