LCA Support Services
Finance & Administration is a department of the Executive Office of the Church, also known as Support Services. It is one of five departments exercising the 'enabling' functions outlined in our LCA Strategic Direction 2015–2018. Working with us are:
Together we provide the support services for our Australian and New Zealand agencies and congregations that enable them to focus on their mission and ministry activities (the 'go' and 'grow' priorities in our LCA Strategic Direction).
Finance & Administration
In the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA) we greatly value those who work behind the scenes, undergirding the work of our people involved directly in mission and ministry. Without them, the supply lines for our front lines of mission and ministry would quickly dry up. So in that sense, our finance and administration staff are just as much part of our mission and ministry teams as our pastors, lay workers and teachers.
Our Finance & Administration Department supports and protects our church's work through caring for our people, sound accounting practices, management of risk, resources and property and IT development.
