Let Lutheran Contact Service (LCS) help you through these situations and lead you to discover new and stimulating friendships.
There's a place for all people who are single/single again.
If you are separated, contact LCS and provide extra information. You can then receive advice on LCS policy for those who are separated.
The ministry of LCS has been blessed since beginning in 1984. As people communicate, friendships have developed and deepened, opening the door of mutual confidence and encouragement. Meaningful relationships have seen some find a special friendship/companionship, while others have found a marriage partner.
If you have been shattered by the death of a beloved spouse or a difficult divorce, or if you feel too shy to begin a relationship, LCS is there to help you. Taking the first step is often the hardest. The joy and refreshment of a new friend could be your reward! You could be the very friend whom someone else is seeking!
LCS has resources to put you in touch with other singles, to help meet your needs and give life a new impetus. We invite you to make contact by phone, letter or email. (Please send your mailing address with all email enquiries.)
Face to face meeting with the coordinators is always welcome. LCS is based at the Lutheran Church's National Office. It is run by volunteer coordinators. A joining fee and annual subscription is requested to assist with costs.
