Lutheran Men of Australia S.A.D. held their 40th Annual Convention & A.G.M on June 24th 2006
at the Woodside Lutheran Church and Hall. The theme was "Who Is Your Neighbour".

Centres around a local congregation, mainly in rural areas
Welcomes men and boys, especially non-church goers
Encourages positive role modelling
Has a shed (any size and any degree of tidiness) as its meeting point
Offers beer and barbecue catering
Provides a wide range of activities
Encourages informal dress code, viz work clothes
Activities can range from Bible study to motor maintenance, financial management to parenting skills, safety practices to crisis counselling, hunting to recycling, etc.
