These Turkana women belong to the original race of people in whose region the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya is located. They too experience difficult times particularly from frequent droughts. It is difficult for them to see all that the Sudanese and other refugees can access in the camp when they have so little.
This is a little Sudanese girl living in the Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya.
This little Sudanese boy is typical of the many, many children who look forward to the outcomes of the Peace Accord in Sudan.
These is a newly arrived refugee family in Kakuma.Families such as this will be resettled in Sudan if they wish to with the support of ALWS.
